The
Fifth Word
BELIEF
"A
conclusion regarding the nature of TRUTH which exceeds the limitations
of the senses"

If PERCEPTION is our gateway to TRUTH,
where does TRUTH end and PERCEPTION begin?
And how reliable is the process?
The answer is, no one really knows.
In fact, we don't even know if my experience
of the color we have agreed to call "blue"
is the same as yours.

The best
we can do is make
"a conclusion regarding the nature of TRUTH
which exceeds the limitations of our senses"
that it is.
In other words, we believe we see the same "blue"
even though we can't prove it.

The ancient aphorism "Seeing is believing"
only works when we believe that we see.
This means that at the root of every PERCEPTION,
there is always some form of a BELIEF.
